A 4-Week Series for Real Life Movement

Grumpy Old Man Yoga is a 4-week series designed for men who are stiff, sore, tight, or just not interested in “traditional yoga.”

This program focuses on simple, practical movement that helps you feel better in everyday life — without pressure, competition, or needing to be flexible.

Each class combines gentle yoga, chair and mat options, and easy breathing techniques to improve mobility, balance, strength, and confidence.

What We Work On Each Week

Week 1: Less Grumpy Back

We focus on the spine, hips, and core to reduce stiffness and ease everyday back discomfort. Movements are slow, controlled, and designed to help your back feel stronger and more supported.

Helps with:

• Low-back stiffness

• Tight hips

• Sitting too much

• Getting up and down more easily

Week 2: Neck & Shoulders

This week targets tight necks, rounded shoulders, and upper-back tension. We include shoulder rolls, shoulder blade movement, and internal/external rotation to support healthy shoulders and rotator cuffs.

• Poor posture

• Upper-back tightness

Week 3: Golf-Specific Muscles

Designed especially for golfers (and weekend warriors), this class focuses on hips, rotation, balance, and core strength to support a smoother, more powerful swing — and fewer aches afterward.

About Me

I’ve spent my entire career helping people move better, feel better, and stay active as they age.

I’m a certified fitness trainer, a veteran massage therapist, and a yoga instructor with decades of hands-on experience working with real bodies — not perfect ones. Over the years, I’ve worked with clients of all ages, abilities, and limitations, helping them reduce pain, improve mobility, and feel more confident in their movement.

Through massage therapy and fitness training, I saw the same pattern again and again:

men were stiff, sore, and hurting — but hesitant to try yoga.

Why I Started Grumpy Old Man Yoga

Grumpy Old Man Yoga was created to change that.

I wanted to offer men the benefits of yoga — better mobility, joint health, balance, strength, and stress relief — without the intimidation, pressure, or “pretzel pose” stereotypes that often turn men away.

This program is built for men who:
